While building her career in fashion, Maksuda discovered another form of creative discipline in the gym. What began as a personal routine grew into a passion for strength, focus and the connection between physical and mental wellbeing.
After completing her studies in India, she returned to Bangladesh determined to challenge the belief that muscle, strength and physical power belonged only to men. Maksuda Akter became the first female bodybuilder in Bangladesh, stepping into a space where women were rarely seen and even more rarely encouraged.
